Will you Scary Me?

I'll add one more vote for the Descent.

I watched it about two or three months after visiting a huge cave in Belize. There were parts where we had to turn sideways and squeeze through along with swimming in pitch black lakes. I'm glad I watched that movie after I did the real life caving.

For those of you who have seen the Descent
which ending did you see?

The U.S. theatrical release had a different more upbeat ending while the directors vision (which is on certain DVD releases) is darker - and much better in my opinion

Thoughts?

I must have seen the directors cut. The ending was not happy.

well. let me rephrase.
the U.S. ending wasn't "happy"
but happier then the real ending

SPOILER:

in the U.S. version she gets out of the cave
in the director's cut that is just her fantasy and she never escapes the cave

one of the halloween movies had a lot of bugs in it. bugs crawling out of peoples' body openings is creepier to me than just about anything.

creepshow had a short featuring bugs, too, i think. ugh. heebee jeebees!

If that particular theme is something you are actively seeking out, you might want to check out Centipede Horror. Trashy Asian insect-barfing horror. Something about a curse...
