Decatur! Sky City! Atari! Granny 9x! why is no-one mentioning these songs?!

"Granny 9x" was a great song. "Days of Thunder" 7inch, which I believe predates Headsparks, always falls into the above mentioned realm for me. And they covered the Big Boys "Which Way to Go." Awesome.
Can't wait to see them again in September.

cjh is right, although he forgot that e.p. by medicine, and slanted & enchanted (with which headsparks is permanently conjoined in my brains)
ah! lost youth!

decatur and atari would be my picks.

but the Shiny Beast song is still Sooyoung's best moment.

Not crap.

Soon after The Problem With Me came out Seam did a tour with Hum. I was camping in the Great Smoky Mountains with some friends and we cut our camping short to drive to Knoxville to see them play in a crappy little bar.

I have seen them many many times and they have always been good no matter the lineup. Looking forward t to seeing them at the T+G show.

You'd Prefer Some Astroglide and The Problem w/ Bitches were godly albums for their time.

Of course my music elitists friends point out that those are 2 of the most boring bands evAR. Sorry elitists, not every album can be a self indulgent Bad Religion rant. ;)

I've never met a chick who didn't eventually love The Problem W/ Me.

ergo its chick music, and I like chick rock

Great band, and a big influence. Saw them a bunch of times way back when; also caught them at the T&G fest. I think I saw them do an in-store once at Ajax records when it was on Chicago Avenue?....

For my money the best version of this band was the one with Bob Rising (fantastic drummer) on the drums.
