What was it you said to me once, Jeremy? "I don't like having to bring a blanket to a show"?
I don't like having to bring a blanket to the stereo.

"Take Me to the Other Side" is a nice little garage rock song, and there is some other stuff I like, but for every minute of enjoyable SM3 music, I'd reckon there's about ten minutes of good Spiritualized music, and about twenty-five-to-thirty minutes of good FSA music.

Where was I? Right, that keyboard player from Spiritualized was really hot.

As much as love the Spacemen, I can't stand Spiritualized. God knows I've spent enough money trying.

Sonic Boom looked like a cross between Barnabas from Dark Shadows and Mr. Bentley from The Jeffersons.

So very not crap!

I am crap because I fell asleep in my chair, waking up at 1AM, and therefore missing the Midway set.

I'm getting old.
I make music/I also make pretty pictures

I picked up a hitchhiker in Portland a few years ago, and when he heard the Rootless Cosmopolitans I had on, he pulled out a Spacemen 3 mix for me to have. I listened to it straight through three times and had a serious phase there for a while where I listened to nothing else while driving. I've never bought any of the albums though, and don't know the names of any of the songs. But I like the fifteen or so songs on that mix.

Alan Sparhawk's a big fan, too.
