the music i make with it is about as far removed from The Jesus Lizard as you could possibly get.

Please send me my prize...

actually, that is a lie, as i recently sold the Bean.

I now own a Telecaster and couldn't be happier...

tele's are a lot of the kickass. my favorite guitar, hands down. so simple, so perfect.

indeed! I'm taking mine to my guitar tech soon to get a P90 installed in the neck position - should make it sound even better.

speaking of teles, ive a got a 73 deluxe that i really love. the neck is so rad. best thing about it is i paid £675 for it. sounds incredible. thinking about getting a standard tele but i dont really like new guitars. i like old ones, and old teles are fucking rediculously priced. at a stretch i could do a 52 reissue. those dont look to gay. its got to be a dark natural wood.

maybe look into the fender custom shop ones. my friend has one and it is a great guitar. not cheap but not as crazy as an old one either.

well ill check one out. i just tend to prefer guitars that have been nicely worn in - not abused as such, just played. i like function to really, tele's are great examples of that. very pure and there to do a job, and i would have thought those custom shop ones start doing strange things like quilted tops and gold bits which i find can be offensive to the senses.
