Wasn't it Blake Fleming from the Dazzling Killmen? I saw Zeni Geva around that time period and I want to say that's who was playing the drums.

I saw that tour. I agree that it was Blake Fleming. I believe the show I saw was Zeni Geva and Ed Hall at the Grog Shop in Cleveland. *sigh* - those were the days...
