editor is Mac OS9 or Windows only. No OSX editor except some flaky leaked beta version, which is shit. FYI. I've got one and love it, but the editor not being released for OSX bums me out.

4The os x editor aint so bad. I've never had any problems with it. Just don't delete with the right click button.

610.4.10 on my intel macbook works, tho i've only had it for a few months and really have only spent about 5 hours in the program in that time. I don't recall having any crashes in 10.3.9 either. That was on an old g3 macbook.
If you are interested in a "real" modular setup, and have the disposable income, I would whole-heartedly recommend it. Putting together a doepfer suitcase is part of the reason why I'm not using the micro modular so much. Unless maybe you're going to use it live and need to re-patch between songs or something.
But then again, holding the synth that took 80 hours of overtime to pay for over your head and shaking the shit out of it so the theremin antenna goes crazy and spring reverb goes kerrrash... You can't really do that with the little red computer thingy.
Fuck. 80 hours. I would have been better off taking a two week vacation in the lab. Not that that particular job allowed for vacation time, but whatever.
