Ryno - My hero

The "4" in 6-4-3 is so very proud today.
I can't decide which I'm happier for, Sandberg finally making it into the Hall of Fame, or knowing that Joe Morgan is pissing in his coffee over it.

What a pleasure it was to watch him play.
He was my baseball hero growing up and I can still mimic his stance and swing at the plate better than anyone else on the planet.

Great ballplayer. I loved watching him play. But he's still a Cub. So screw him.

However, I honestly feel bad that his then-wife passed herself around the Cubs locker room like a collection plate. As I recall, Mark Grace and Tuffie Rhodes were among those who left "donations".

By the way, Sandberg in the HOF before Santo? That makes no sense. Wtf.

Seeing Ryno go yard against the Cards at Wrigley in 1990 (another crappy post-playoffs-making season) is the single greatest baseball moment of my life. Ever better than The Village People at 70's night, Wrigley '99. Second base will always be my favorite position because of him.

Andre still doesn't belong. Goose does. Have yet to see any footage this week of Boggs riding that fucking horse. (Please, no Margot Kidder jokes.)
