But 'ol Ken Nordine and Gil Scott-Herron prove me wrong.

I had some stuff on tape for a while that I accidentally caught on BBC Radio 3 bookending a Laurie Anderson concert. It was really spooky. One was him taking you on a trip inside his head, through different rooms and back out again, and one was going on about the colour purple. I'd like to get hold of some more, it's really interesting. What a voice.
