Which is easily one of the best bass tones I've ever heard on a studio album.

I almost put Lou Barlow's into to "Forget the Swan" from the first Dinosaur album, but then I remembered that started with drums. Bah.

damn...there's another bass line i never thought of as a bass line...not paying close attention i assumed it was guitar or something...all the distortion and such...but anyway, damn great song/album...

High On Fire "Surrounded By Thieves".....opens with the song "Eyes and Teeth". About a minute of lllloooooooooooowwwwww bass rumble.

Media Person, Rudimentary Peni. I own the collection of EP's titled the EP's or RP, so I'm not certain that this would be the first track on the original EP, but I'd like to think so.

Here comes Dudley from Goat and Fly on the Wall from Down are also worth mentioning in spite of drum accompaniment.

Nirvana really was good at opening a lot of their songs with nifty little basslines...
