'Acoustical properties', of yr mom

Damn, just when I thought I wasn`t going to post on here anymore, and that this thread will slowly die... I don`t know why you gotta bring the mom into this. I would only like to repeat that I have no personal defense or offense to post here. I would also like to repeat that the goddamn guitars sound good, and that for every sattelite dish there are dozens of normal, affordable, guitars. You don`t have to play `em on stage, you can record them in the studio, and then you don`t have to worry about your friends making fun of you, or thinking you look stupid. I`ve read the other threads on here, and many of you seem to know a great deal about audio. That is great. I love audio too, and I find the technical discussions on here as interesting as this thread here, really. But, well... what can I say, to think a guitar is ugly is one thing. To say it is so ugly you won`t treat it seriously also works. But if you haven`t heard or played it, and you want to knock the "acoustical properties" or whatever, well... i guess that is your right also.

On a more serious note:

It seems that many of you have been riled up and offended by my original "grilled cheese and poppycock" comment. Know that no sandwiches were hurt in the making of that comment, and that I have submitted myself into sandwich sensitivity classes.

Mash-ups do suck. Layering two records someone sweated over, nudging them back and forth until they stop rubbing hard enough to make you queasy. That's your art? That's a bucket of horse piss!

Then you get sued and become infamous for it. That's your claim to fame?

How does one make money off something like that anyways?
Do people pay you to stop?
