Spending a year on the road - can we hang out?

WOW!

Persecution complex.. probably.

Oppressed.. not any more than anyone else, in fact probably less than most people.

drama... I am not a big fan of it myself, it is very time consuming. Not sure what "control drama" is, is that psychiatrist lingo?

Smores .. maybe, but I am more of a cookie baker. (I am participating in a bake sale this weekend if anyone wants to try out my goods, let me know)

Shane -- Bad relationship with his dad, yeah, I believe the City Pages article says as much.
Negative attention ... Not so much anymore.
Dana Plato and Gacy paintings - (in the immortal words of Dave Putty) Yeah that's right.
The Dana Plato thing was a tragedy, really sad...And, no, not profitable at all!
Yes he published books as Michael Hunt Publishing, those were some great books!

Might Is Right - Way more than a Nazi tract, though the modern nazis do use it, didn't much appreciate us having LaVey- a jew, write the forward.

the dark, edgy version of Marge Simpson
I rather like that. Enabler - definitely, is that bad?

You can take these random facts and add them up anyway you want.

We do the best we can to get by. Our successes and failures are ours, not the systems, not the Mans, not anyone elses.

They seem like fun-loving goofs and I often get along strangely well with folks like that.
That is us in a nutshell.....

Yeah, the videos will get better, this is our "Pre-season", give us a chance and you might be entertained.... And I will try to keep my personal opinions out of it as much as possible.

Was that everything? ....alright, back to work. See ya all tomorrow.

Sorry if I am seeming like a complete cock here but I really just do not understand the releasing of the CD with Dana Plato's "last breaths." You say it was a tragedy and really sad...so then why exploit it like that?

I know you yourself did not do this so I am not trying to judge you here but can you let us in on why this was thought to be an ethical and reasonable idea?

Really just trying to wrap my mind around this...

Indeed! Thanks for asking. Most people just say it was sick, but never ask the reason. I can't speak for Shane on this (I will ask him if he would to post his own thoughts on it), but I can give you some of the facts that led to the the book. Keep in mind this was almost 10 years ago.

Shane has an odd way of dealing with grief - I can only imagine what will become of me if I die first! Joking... sort of.

Shane sought Dana Plato out to MC our Expo Of The Extreme 2, and in the beginning it was all about hype. They seemed to hit it off and began talking about doing a book together. He was doing interviews on the phone with her almost daily.

We got her hooked up with several roles in various plays around chicago, the Sun-times was actually preparing to run a big story on her comeback. And then she died a week before the show.

The whole thing was very fishy, and though we contacted authorities there and told them he had all these recordings, no one wanted to talk to him. So we put together a mini-biograpghy on her and an audio CD of the various interviews he was doing with her and the timeline leading to her death. It is a pretty compelling listen.

Sure, it was tabloid, and kind of ugly, and maybe I would have done some things differently, but it was his project. I am proud of the work I did on it. No matter, I will say, I will never believe her death was an accident or a suicide.

And certainly, as a matter of business, we had invested thousands of dollars in Dana by that time. To be honest, we needed to TRY recoup some of that money, so I am not saying it wasn't at all about money, but it was about a lot more than money.
