292Bottom of the 5th has officially lasted 30 minutes (seems like about 25 of that has been with two outs). I have been watching baseball since 1974, and this is the biggest implosion in the World Series I can remember. Got to be morale-crushing for the Rockies.

293It's the 6th and it's 13 to 1, boston.
I guess I'm happy.
But this is retarded...

In the AL Cleveland will get into the middle of the Yankees bullpen and win that series. The Red Sox easily beat the Angels - I like the way the rotation sets up. Then Red Sox over Cleveland. A-and...
Red Sox over Rockies in six.

Schilling tonight! I wonder if it'll be a continuation of the drowning that occured last night?
As for games at colorado... I think they should bench Ortiz... Youkilis is tooo hot right now and Big Papi is a little soggy with his knee and the not hitting so much.

So what should I tell my bookie?
Tonight's game is the key. If Schilling gets pounded like he did in the summer, the momentum goes to the Rockies. But I still think the Red Sox have too much talent -- more than the Rockies have faced in over a month -- to be denied. Sox in 6. Yes, Youkilis over Papi in Denver.

Gives the Sox one hell of a pinch hitter.

298Sit Papi. Youkilis looks like the ball is hovering in space above the space above the plate before he whacks it. He's crushing everything he hits.

I mean in 04 Papi wasn't the worlds worst 1B-man but I just feel it wuld be really stupid in this series.

Plus, Ortiz isn't clutch enough. [/taunt]
I feel a lot better about the Rockies loss last night after seeing that Beckett was left in for 2 more innings and 25-30 more pitches with a 12 run lead. That's some good managing right there.
