now i gotta preface this by saying i was smoking the kush last night-- b b b BUT- i am still 99.9 percent positive that I saw the sneakiest and seediest advertising in broadcast history.

they had a guy in the stands holding up a "sign" which was really a green screen with a motion video advert on it. i think it was a car advert. but i don't even remember it being during a spoken spot ad- i can't remember any of the broadcasters delivering the pitch. like it was supposed to be this organic crowd shot with the motion graphics sign subtely slipped in. did anyone else notice that? so sneaky! and then i noticed during a few crowd shots that there were several people in the stands holding these green screens up.

Looking back, as that's the only choice at this point....

Did anyone else hear Buck & McCarver's words of disgust for Holliday not hustling out of the box (or around the bases) on his homer in Game 3? Didn't think so.

Lugo broke out of a year long funk w/ a .962

Basically BoSox won in the classic "4-5 heroes per game" way of a many WS champs. Instead of relying on a couple of stars, everyone chipped in.

Tell MLB to stop tracking them that way then. Or ask MLB to change the world series from a 7 game series to a 1,894 game series in order to account for accurate statistical measurements!

Its fucking BASEBALL STATS. All that matters in a playoff series is whatever happens in that series. Its not a scientific measurement used in a clinical trial.

Joe Morgan is not only a first ballot Hall of Famer, he is also an Emmy winner. and he is known for being CLUTCH even over a "small sample size"

And there was nothing sneaky about those green screen in game ads, just another nauseating insidious advert.
