I don't care if they weren't officially a white power band to start off with.
I hope this chap meant to type Swervedriver instead.

I own some of their early records. Those records certainly had no indication of the hate fest to come on their later political records. I bought them before they became an expressly political band. I certainly don't agree with the racial politics expressed in those later records.
Don't be so quick to judge. The owner of this forum has certainly listened to Skrewdriver, which he owned up to in an article he wrote, quite some time ago, entitled something like "I Like Noise", and he was talking not just about noise in the industrial music sense either. He may not listen to them now, I assume he doesn't, as I'm talking about probably close to 20 years ago, but it was certainly an honest expression of what he thought about some of the seamier side of music back then.
I am 100% sure he didn't agree with their politics, as he has expressed, in one form or another, many many times on this forum.

Points well taken.

116Yeah, I've also listened to them, and I understand that in the 70s they were pretty much just another Brit-punk/oi band.
But their association with all that Nazi/KKK racist bullshit has really ruined them for me, not unlike the way my appreciation of writers like Celine and Ezra Pound has been dampened by their fascist associations.
Maybe I'll start a new thread to discuss the question of art and politics.

This would be a fine idea. Please do. I would really like to have a discussion about this. I think there are alot of nuances regarding this that are worth discussing.

118This is the worst beer I have ever had! Marsup showed up with this stuff before a practice and it was undrinkable. We ended up going out and getting other beer. This sat in the mini fridge for a long time.

Newcastle Brown Ale (fucking boring for the price.)
Moretti La Rosa (sweet and nasty syrup shit that really wants to be good)
Miller Lite (ass)
Beast (ass)
Olympia (water. National Bohemian actually KILLS it. So does PBR!- if you're going to drink cheap watery american beer)
Budweiser Lite (fuck it)
Any shit pre-mixed with Lime and Salt
Bass in a bottle is overrated. Gets stale and nasty by the fifth chug. By the time the bottle is almost empty, the last swallows taste like piney-copper piss. Draft is fine. What gives?
Is Moretti La Rosa different than the reg. Moretti?
Cuz that's my favorite new pilsner. Hell of a value at $5.99 too.
Guiness in the 12oz. bottle is very good, put you can have that nasty bitter-as-fuck pub draught.
Samuel Smith is pretty awful.
Amstel fucking Light.
