Pavement wrote some great songs, but they also wrote a lot of filler. I don't appreciate the cutesy, borderline twee nonsense, but as a whole I'm going to vote NC.

I like Pavement.

I’ve always thought that Stephen Malkmus is only half serious about what he does and that he isn’t quite sure whether he finds the free-associated rock tropes that constitute his songs beautiful or funny. Probably both. When I listen to a Pavement record, I’m not sure whether to admire its loveliness or delight in its absurdity and I like that.
