pele was awesome. ghosts and vodka ripped off pele so hard....
stupid name, sometimes decent riffs, trying to be math rock with the signature and lack of vocals but with too much of the underlying emo.
crap with a waffle factor for the occasional sweet riff.

2Earl Howitzer was the starting point for a lot of the people that ended up playing in or associating with the bands in the Hefty Records "scene" (e.g., Chisel*Drill*Hammer, Ghosts & Vodka, Ilium, Sterling).
In my opinion, Earl Howitzer was by far the best of those bands.

3I really like ghosts and vodka even though yes they ripped off pele and yes pele was a better band. I'm just a sucker for all the bands in that vein.

5Good band.
Pele reminds me of them.
I'm sorry, but Cowboys and Sailors is such a good fucking song. Rip or not.

6Good band. Someone else said they try to be math rock, and I don't think thats the case at all. There are no real time changes and all that, mainly sticking in 4/4. Good harmonies, a great instrumental band.
Not crap.
