On a happier note 3/4 of heavy vegetable have been recording an album under the moniker the "the other men" which is quite brilliant in my little opinion. Should be out soon on Rob Crow's own label.

i just got the 'other men' record the other day and it is really good!! i really liked heavy vegetable. i also like pinback but i haven't listened to the new one, although i think i saw a video from it on subterranean which was not bad.

Don't - I thought exactly the same thing a few weeks back when I saw them play here, and I stuck my foot in my mouth with a similar comment...I'll tell you about it in person sometime. It's mega-embarrassing.

Rumah Sakit was brilliant! This Pinback, however, not my cup of tea.

Justin Trosper (Unwound; which happens to be one of my favorite bands) also played in the Replikants.

Doesn't mean I have to like that, either.
