So the Traynor Dynabass (Pete's first amp, the predecessor to the YBA-1) that was listed on eBay twice finally sold when listed the third time. Buy It Now price of $1500, making it the most expensive Traynor I've ever seen sell on eBay. It had no more than 6 views before someone used the Buy It Now.

You can't expect a YBA-3A to sell for that much unless it's like the one that sold recently, namely, a 60's model (as opposed to early 70's) in excellent physical condition. The one that sold was modified to have individual bias and test points for each of the four output tubes, which is an awesome improvement for this amp more than almost any other since "matched" 6KG6 tubes are unheard of and from my experience they can idle radically differently from each other. Hard to say whether that improvement resulted in a higher or lower selling price, since it's certainly a performance enhancement but is also destructive for the collector-type since it involved drilling holes in the chassis.

That being said, I'm sure you'd have no problem selling a YBA-3A, either on eBay or even on this forum, and I'd expect you'd get a good thousand bucks or so, on eBay at least, if it's in good shape.
