Amen, sista.
I sit only yards away from a woman who does this on a DAILY basis. She has some kind of allergy to work and sneezes like an elephant. Several GD times a day.
She goes off like a roadside IED and my balls retract with disgust at her inability to cover her mouth. It's a great way to prevent people from touching your stuff. And indeed you in general. Fucking leper.
My own irrational prejudices:
Bands that cite Sonic Youth and The Fall as their 'influences' but actually sound like The Killers.
Folk who have completed/are studying humanities-related courses beyond university level. Sure, not all of them by any stretch of the imagination, but of the ones that I have met, a fair deal seem to have this belief that they (and their peers) have some kind of proprietary ownership of their respective fields that precludes anyone outside the fold from a) holding an opinion about their area of 'expertise' and b) really having a valid opinion at all. I realise that not all academics are like this at all, and maybe I just invite being patronised. It must be something about my face.
Women that eat stinky crisps (potato chips, Americans) in public.
Women that eat kebabs, and liberally douse them with garlic and chilli sauce.
People that use DOD pedals.
