Which old TV show gives you the warm and fuzzies?

the closing theme music from 'wkrp' will always make me think of staying home sick, hanging out and watching tv in our moldy basement, eating a frozen pizza... being a kid.

i'm kind of a sucker for 'leave it to beaver' and i don't know why. if it happens to come on, i'll leave it on. same goes for 'chips' - so bad, and yet so good.

i need to find some episodes of 'the greatest american hero' - the five year old me thought that was the best show ever. also some copies of 'the fall guy,' as the six year old me totally thought that show ruled.

i'd be really curious to see if nancy mckeon is still crushworthy these days. i'm guessing no.

Rockford Files! I could live my life so much easier if the channels only showed classic shows that were cop/mystery. My world should for sanity sake include Quincy, Columbo, Mcleod, Knight Rider, Barnaby Jones, Dragnet, Adam 12, Rescue, TJ Hooker, Baretta, Man from UNCLE, Avengers, CHiPS, Miami Vice, Night Heat, Wojeck, Kojak, Hill St. Blues, McMillan and Wife, Banacek, Scarecrow and Mrs King, Jake and the Fatman, Simon and Simon, Riptide, Magnum, Swat, Untouchables, Streets of San Francisco and so many others.

Think shows like Coupling are better than "Open University lab #243 - Fluid Mechanics"?

As kid, I had a preference for American T.V. over British simply because it always looked nicer. Y'know I remember Coronation Street was all dingy claustrophobic '70s mustard yellowy Austin allegro and then you'd change channels and Hill Street Blues or The Waltons or whatever seemed all fresh and blue like a bright November morning.
