Sah--06/06--A band from Marquette. The greatest band I've seen since Uzeda last year at the T&G show. Sah are unbelievable. I cannot describe what it is, so I won't.

Bottomless Pit--hammer of the gods--so. fucking. good.

A Minor Forest--So Were They In Some Sort of a Fight?--for old time's sake.

Robbie Fulks--the live album Revenge--He played in Kazoo recently with Alejandro Escovedo. I had no idea Robbie Fulks could play guitar like that. I sort of blew my mind. The PERFECT entertainer. Sang a Beyonce song even.

W.B. Yeat biography as book on tape. I'm going to Ireland in May. Trying to absorb as much as I can as quickly as I can.

Baroness - The Red Album. (holy shit)

Colour Haze - Tempel (apotheosis of stoner rock)

Murder City Devils - In Name and Blood (contrived and melodramatic but irresistible)

Sixty Watt Shaman - Seed of Decades (sadly defunct Maryland hard rock monsters)

Oscar Aleman - Graciones Recuperadas (thanks to the EA SendSpace thread; nice sorbet between the heavy dishes)

FUCKING JESUS !!!!
Never thought that anybody would still be listening to this album !!!
My copy was sold on ebay for 60 bucks !!!

I sold ALL my American shoegazing albums because they are not worth keeping !!!!
They are priced with good money though...

It's a pretty cool album, three of the tracks are fucking awesome and the rest are really good to pretty good.
That puts it way ahead of most bullshit I come across.

This album is pretty fucking good. Everything else I've heard by them is not so great.
