How come I can't find a Beyer M380 to buy anywhere? I've had a search alert on ebay for 6 months now. I kept a close watch on my local CL and googled repeatedly. Anyone want to sell me one?

Yeah, they're really hard to find now. I'm glad I have one! got it like 7 months ago on ebay. Later on I've seen two more in ebay.de, but that's it.

fear not the opus 65. i actually prefer it over the 380 on a bass cabinet.

did you try beyerdynamic as well as beyer?

god knows why, but i get more results from beyerdynamic.

and yes, try a search on ebay.de and check the 'Ort' box "Europa"

yeah, i ended up mail ordering mine from australia a few years ago. is it possible the beyer stuff just isn't so well distributed over here? i had the same problem finding m69s a few years ago. but i just bought a ton on ebay.

As cool as the M380 is, keep in mind that if it breaks, you're screwed. There is nothing you can do accept cry. No spares are made for it anymore.
-So make sure the mic works on all levels before spending any money.
