I LOVE this band. Many things that I like about music all wrapped up in a nice little indie rock package. Over the years I've become friends with these guys and I've never known them to be the types that would talk about themselves and how important they were for hours on end. Totally nice, modest, down to earth guys, all of em. Many teenaged girls liked what they played but they still played smart & interesting energetic music. I am a grown man with all kinds of self respect and I can admit to listening to this kind of stuff seriously.

not crap. they were great live (saw'm countless times and they always, always brought it) and had some good recorded material. i knew plenty of dudes who liked them and weren't sissies. haven't popped in a record in a long time but only because i listened so damn much when i was a young lady (maybe this is where 'music for teenage girls applies') a lot of their songs are permanently etched in my brain.

I agree. I played a show or two with this band in the mid to late 1990's. They were weak, even if they jumped around a whole bunch with their chained wallets and played pre-Jimmy Eat World above-average emo.

Boring. At their best, it was like taking Bastro, wiping away all the danger, all of the brutal, most of the talent and texture and making everything whiney, woe-is-me emocore.

worked with one of them, was friends with two of them. good, good people. don't think i've ever heard a lick of their music and i don't have a problem with that. happy to be totally blithe and unaware in that regard...

I love this band.
