BAND: Articles of Faith
2I'll say not crap because of my good memories of hanging out with most of the band back then at Big Blue.
It's funny, I just listened to "Give Thanks" last night, for the 1st time in years. Pulled it out because of the discussion on "You Weren't There".
I'd say it didn't hold up too well for me, but they do thank me, among many other people I know, in the liner notes. I don't remember noticing that before.
I believe I have some 45's by them I liked better than the album, even back then.

3I loved this band circa 1983, but like most hardcore of the era, it has not aged well, in part because it's impossible in retrospect not to see the band's lead singer duck-walking across the stage with a we-mean-it-man grimace plastered on his face. Or to hear it.

4This band is incredibly good, especially in the context of what was going on in "hardcore" at the time, or at least as far as I've heard. I still listen to their discography discs every now and again, although I don't praise their name at every Hardcore Quiz Bowl like I used to a couple of years ago.

5I personally like their 7'' way more than the LP's.
Everyday is a damn good song.

6Battitude battitude badditude baddituuuude!
I think I still have a "sash" from a show at Goofy's Upper Deck somewhere. I guess I thought they were okay in 1983 or so, haven't listened to them since.

I have a whole bunch of the armbands we wore at the shows they helped put on at the Centro-American Social Club.
