I know next to nothing about them. I liked the music in "Half Nelson" and was surprised to see it was by them. Is that indicative of what they do normally, cos I imagined they'd be much more indie song-based, whereas this was more droney.

i dont listen to them much anymore, but those two songs, oh god. the lyrics from lovers spit are just incredible, probably my favorite song from the last 5 years.

I guess I'm one of the few that favors 'Feel Good Lost' over YIP. I mean, it's a good album, but I don't know... something about it. Track 4 is purely awesome.

Still, BSS, you are not crap. I did, however, find your newer album less appealing.

They helped bring some deserved attention to the Toronto scene, released one great album (YFIP), and played as J Mascis backuo band with duel drummers for the one off "Broken Mascis Scene".

The latest album is a bit of a let down, and the Kevin Drew album could have been trimmed to around 40 minutes and it seems to be recycling. A few decent songs though.

The credit of starting a decent label is negated by the fact it flunks the RIAA Rader test.
