An old bass player I played with had the 100w version. I was given the opinion once that the 50w was kind of silly for bass because it was underpowered. I thought the 100w sounded good but ditched immediately at recording when we heard the Orange 200AD.

The cabs are amazing. Deeper than a normal Marshall cab and with very high powered celestion sidewinder speakers in them. Great for guitar or bass. I have both a 2x15 and a 4x12. Pretty hard to find though. The 2x10-1x15 as mentioned above also exist and a 1x18 version.

We all use 50-watt amps, played a show last night, volume was definitely not a problem, amps were not up more than halfway.
