Finals are approaching, and I keep thinking about what part of my body I would shoot if I had a gun in my pocket.
Last night I was dreaming about walking through unknown front yards at night with a stick that I'd picked up which I assume had fallen from a dream tree. I guess no one in the neighborhood had been raking, because there were a TON of slightly wet brownish leaves on the ground, and as I tramped through them, I whacked at the ones in front of me with my stick. I was all bundled up and feeling pretty good about mindlessly swinging my stick back and forth through these leaves. Suddenly, some small animal leaped up at me from under the leaves, growling with a voice ten times its size. It was the first time that I can remember actually being woken from a dream out of terror. My heart was beating incredibly fast and I couldn't get back to sleep for over an hour. Awful. I think it was a possum or something.

Burun, what music was playing?
It was Pissed Jeans.
I read this today and it sent me into a bummer spiral of the first order, because I have an irrational fear that those will be the circumstances under which I die.

I would hate to have to answer that question about any of my irrational fears. Sometimes my brain tells me stuff that is blatantly not true, but it still puts me in a spin.

I love the Pissed Jeans... my friend Rich put out the Shallow record. Haven't heard the new one.
Burun, you won't go that way... you have us friends here... and If I smell anything strange coming from Queens I'll know to alert the authorities...

What else would you expect up there?
I grew up here and lived in Wisconsin for awhile so I've suffered through both my whole life. There was also a 6 year period I had to suffer through the Patriots. So I feel you.

Smells strange? Like maple syrup?
I just sometimes feel that since I'm so moody/spend so much time working that people won't notice that they haven't seen me or heard from me in...oh, five months.
That's all.
But it's completely irrational.

2 flats? No problem. Keep this stuff in your car. Saved me once. Never drive without it.
