Merry Christmas, forum.
Sorry I haven't been posting stuff...I've been a good student instead (I think).
Jim Haskins - Christmas Piano

Nothing is particularly exceptional about this CD...it's just some Christmas music played on piano (and occasionally, keyboard).
Could someone post the complete Vince Guaraldi Charlie Brown Christmas album this year?

He's got it there, along with a shite-load of pretty amazing Christmas albums. I'm esspecially enjoying torturing my co-workers with the ludicrous "Pac-Man" Christmas album.
Happy Festivus, y'all.
Now for the airing of grievances!

3335All this talk about Crime and the City Solution and the Birthday Party has got me wondering: does anyone have anything by Sprung Aus Den Wolken? When I tried to look them up on Allmusic.com, the only album listed for them was "Early Eighties Tracks". Plus they were classed as "world music" (because they're German, perhaps?).
"Pas Attendre", which is on the Wings of Desire soundtrack, is a fantastic song and I'm thinking there has to be some still extant stuff by this band. Anyone?

3336Home of the Wildcats (Sing Puerto Rican Love Songs)

This short-lived, now defunct band included members of two of my favorite math-rock bands, Purkinje Shift and Moreland Audio. Although this record is a bit more straight-forward than those projects, I suppose. The album's been shelved, the download link is provided by the band's bassist. Enjoy.

Bluebird Blues[/url]
Picked this up, used, at the Jazz Record Mart. It's a really nice compilation of Bluebird sides from the '30s/40s. Blind Wille McTell, Sleepy John Estes, Arthur Crudup etc.

I have almost all their other records but it's very different from this track. The music of the two tracks from this single (Pas attendre and Que Pa) were written by Alex Hacke who was not a permanent member.
The previous records sound more like early Neubauten, I read somewhere this is "industrial dub", whatever that means. The following record is much more danceable, I don't listen to it anymore. My girlfriend who loves pas attendre hates this record. So, tell me if you're still interested and I'll try to upload some records in a few days.

3339Since they have their first official album available for free on their site, I figured I'd spam for my buddies RPG. One of my favorite live acts and the album ain't shabby either. Punk'n'roll with a wry attitude and plenty of grit.
