you should just leave then. it'll solve all our problems.

everyone needs someone to hate, and I'm easy and fun to hate on, why else would it be so trendy? People do things they like to do, and hatin on hex seems to be entertaining for some. Of course I was kidding in my statement, regardless the pavement love is a troubling stat

No, it's not fun, trendy, or entertaining to hate you or anyone.

But if it walks like a dick and talks like a dick...

With its demand of the rock, this thread seems to be moving towards positing a Soundgarden vs. Pavement splat. Which would be soul-destroying,

On occasion I like the rock <insert WWF jpeg here>, but often I like something a little different. This is irrelevant, of course, as Pavement did, when they deigned to, rock. I saw them do this very well and jumped up and down with great joy. However, they did a lot more than rock. Pavement made some gorgeous, mournful, moving songs which could almost pass as pop were they not so weird. Sure they were whimsical: in a background of the macho, dumb-assed grunt that surrounded them when they were active, I think that this whimsy was brave, as well as utterly charming.

Cut yr hair, you stinking hippies!

I hated Pavement until last year. Then they clicked.

Give it time, basically.
