Why not just urinate on the sausage?
I don't actually exist so I doubt I can make it

33Dia Beacon is a nice place. I just went last Saturday.

I hate that road.
At night, there's no lights.
I got completely lost and freaked out when I took a wrong turn somewhere, at night, in the middle of summer, looking for the drive-in movie theater.
They just remodeled the Bear Mountain lodge, and I am bummed out, because it was such a time capsule of the 70's.

35I can't remember where it was, but I was
a) driving, which I was not supposed to be doing
b) piloting a car full of loud backseat drivers
c) being rushed by one of those backseat drivers
I ended up pulling over, screaming AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH for about two solid minutes, then got back in the car and demanded someone else drive.
PS: We actually made the movie.

36I suggest the night of the 27th to meet up. Say - 8:30 PM. Where?
The Dia Beacon is wonderful. I prefer art (the little that I know about it) to be huge and overwhelming. This place usually delivers - at least is has the two times that I've got. I'd insist that you go, but there's also all kinds of other great things to do in NYC. The Queens Museum of the arts, for example, has a scale model of NYC - EVERY BUILDING IN THE CITY.
If you want a good NYC art museum, do also check out PS1 in Queens. It's the Moma annex, but more more manageable (the real Moma is way too big). It's in Long Island City.

37The new New Museum is supposed to be pretty cool too. And, in a more traditional vein, I hear the Met's new Greek and Roman exhibit is impressive.
But fuck museums. Beer!

38I'm with Ty: beers, beers, beers. Downtown? Hi-fi, Cloisters, St. Dympnas, that german biergarten place? I'm open to suggestions.
