i don't understand why people keep on not answering emails,
that really pisses me off.
the worst is to see, for exemple on Myspace, that they have received and read your message, but don't even bother to answer a SIMPLE QUESTION.....

I don't answer emails all the time. This is because I'm really really busy, and I get a lot of emails from bands! I know many promoters who get 50+ emails a day.

For some reason, it would seem that the vast majority of bands in London are incapable of bringing their own equipment to a gig. Instead, they rely on you to provide it for them - often not even mentioning that they want to share gear. So one invariably ends up bringing an entire backline from 200 miles away so they don't have to make the effort.
Worse still when you are a tour booker, and receive an email from the band 6 hours before soundcheck asking to borrow "a bass amp, a guitar amp and a drum kit" from the band who have come from Chicago and are currently in France.
London band: you might want to have mentioned this 3 MONTHS AGO.
