Aside from calling you a caricature, which I believe, and stating that more people would buy into this conspiracy if the one's pushing it didn't come off as being certifiable, which I believe as well, I don't think I have been jumping down anyone's throat.

I think this is the point in the conversation, Rick, where one presents some sort of evidence linking the topic under discussion (the destruction of interrogation tapes by the CIA) with the event that one claims they relate to.

I highly doubt that the tapes were "destroyed." That would be very surprising.

So what you're saying is you're pulling it out of your ass and, because our leaders are untrustworthy and provide nothing but second-hand information, we should believe you, who is untrustworthy and provides nothing but second-hand information.
