they are just visiting for a couple of months--going to the local public school to learn english and experience another culture. that's what makes this gift giving so difficult... i'm not sure how different toys are in korea (is it anything like japan? i dunno) and if they would think stuff here is lame, or if they think it's bad ass. as for clothing, my mom is clothes crazy-- it's basically all she gets for anyone ever-- so i think that's pretty much covered.

i played with dolls when i was 11... but when looking around the other day i noticed they are all totally lame (and maybe a little inappropriate for good catholics). i think Bratz ruined dolls forever. and stuff that i want to get like this are meant for kids younger than them. but it looks so cute and fun!

bath and body works... that's a good idea. kids like stinky things, like grape smelling pencils, so these kinda smells should be perfect. my mom suggested some kind of perfume for the girl (preferably by disney) but i don't think we have a disney store in town and don't know where to look for kids perfumes.

then there's stocking stuffers... i figure a bunch of stickers, pencils and just STUFF. do girls still like lip smackers/bonnie bell flavored chapsticks?

oh and japn, that 4track thing is an awesome idea... i can't believe you weren't allowed to give it to them. what a super sweet and cool thing to do.

enframed, nerf sounds good but he doesn't really have any friends!
