Bought it on vinyl, sold it when I was "poor" bought it on cd a few montsh ago. Still not 100% into it though.

That's because it's a shit record.

The Filth/Blatz "Shit Split" on Lookout. Loved it in high school. Got sick of it. Sold it in my early 20's, bought it again in my late 20's. Same story with Dag Nasty's "Can I Say". all the early Black Flag, Crass' Christ The Album.

This is why I DON"T SELL MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bitch ex-wife sold back my LP collection just prior to our divorce back in '91. I know that's not what you're talking about, but it does explain at least 1 buyback of the following:

Misfits - "Walk Among Us" x 2
Big Star - "Sister Lovers" x 2
Big Boys - "Lullibies Make the Brain Grow" x 2
Beastie Boys - "Paul's Boutique" x 2
The Feelies - "The Good Earth" x 2
Lou Reed - "Berlin" x 2
Throbbing Gristle - "Entertainment Through Pain" x 2

etc. I get in "record selling" moods where I'll basically obliterate a genre or artist because I'm not in the mood for it at the time...sold a near complete Captain Beefheard collection that I rebuilt a year later, got rid of all two/tone ska...

Haven't done this in about 8 years though...finally wised up.

Scorn - Vae Solis.

So i got it and thought it was okay, but was then in a purge and ditched it. I have a thing where I sell like two thirds of my music every seven or so years. I regret selling very few records. Record collecting is a disease, sometimes. This was the only one I bought again then ditched in another purge (that was bought on by shitty personal circumstance), then I was at this guy's house and heard it again. I looked at his copy and it was one of my older ones I'd sold (there was a tear I knew. You know how it is). I asked him where he'd got it and yep. Hey, I live in very small town.

so I bought it again and then I knew I shouldn't ditch it.

there's a few others I regret selling but not quite enough to track down and buy.

All of these records have been sold and rebought at least once by me. There are loads more that I couldn't think of and I didn't even touch the butt rock CDs that I think it would be "funny" to listen to every once in awhile so I go buy a bunch of them.

Many of these records aren't currently in my collection meaning they've been sold a second time, only until it occurs to me to want to listen to them again.
