"The Ethics of What We Eat" by Peter Singer. It's his most modern book since he wrote "Animal Liberation" in the 70s. Right before I started this book though, I read a enraging book called "Starlight Tours: The Last Lonely Night of Neil Stonechild". It's about cops from Saskatoon County Canada droping aboriginals off kilometers out of town with no shoes in minus 20 Celcius weather for them to die. Nonetheless a good read.
