Hey, guys (and also girls, like, seriously)

I get what you're saying, misery-guy. I think it's a fine thing to try work into one's life, what you're suggesting. If you feel like doing it, I say go for it. I try to be mindful like you're saying, deliberately, from time to time. But one thing you can't really expect is for all, most, or even many other folks to join you in this pursuit. That's just how it goes.

I've been trying to stay out of the bullshit for a while now. It's hard. I'm inclined towards getting into the bullshit. Sometimes it's easiest to just ignore almost everything that everyone says. I miss a lot of stuff, or don't read it until weeks later, but it also makes it pretty easy to stay out of the bullshit. Well, easier anyway.

I was drunk when I made it, but listening to CSPAN at work all day truly upset me.

It seems pretty insane and egotistical of people to believe that choosing a political view that they've deemed acceptable and sticking to it is an acceptable way of addressing current events / any kind of political matter.

If the US of A had a third, pragmatist, party, I think listening to politicians and callers from Madison, Arkansas would be a lot more tolerable.

That's what was on my mind. Sadly, the thread is no real reflection of that.
Life is like a box of chocolates.
You never know when Tom Hanks is gonna say something stupid.
