Dyers eve is a serious fucking track no matter who did it, just blazing

There's a little bass on 'One' and one other song on there. No bass on the rest. I've tried for years to hear any.

There's that frrrrbbbbbtttt frrrtttbbbb when you turn it up real loud, I think that's the bass

hm... the only time i've heard something that sounds like bass on that album is on this one boom box, and i'm not certain it wasn't just a subharmonic coming off the guitars.

i don't think they'd use trebly metal zone on the bass because it doesn't seem like their style to distort bass for a whole album. but who knows...

edit: i do think i remember detectable bass on some of the clean parts of one. if they were actually leaving bass off the album out of mourning, i think they realized that you can't do that on a clean part and have it not be obvious/problematic.

Considering how disjointed and patchwork the songs on St. Anger were, that was perfectly suited for them.

Aside from the music in SKOM, I've never heard this album. Should I go pick up a copy ?

Music is dreadful. But If you watched SKOM 5 times or more than you might check it out of sheer interest. Still, don't pay for it.

My friend Pete told me last night that Hetfield and Ulrich were sat adjacent to him at a bar. Next thing, Hetfield farts on my friend, you know, moved on to one side and let one rip in Petes direction. Pete looks at his friend and asks "did that just happen?" and his friend confirms this. Pete turns around to Hetfield and says "hey, man, what the fuck? you just farted in my direction. you don't do that. ".

I don't recall the last part but, I think you get the picture.
