it's a pain many of us are feeling, mate. sold him for being fat and ineffectual, and he immediately starts being fat and brilliant.

Nico Adie wrote:Really horrible. You never expect stuff like this to happen. I remember his early days at Motherwell well, he was a really good player. Never really reached his potential with Celtic. Such a shame.

By all accounts, he seemed like a really nice guy too.

Yeah, Roddy Forsyth was talking about him on radio five a short while ago, and was stressing what a lovely fella he was. Leaves behind a wife and two children, I believe.

He went to bed about a decade ago, or whenever he sold his soul to the bankers and the elites.

Absolutely. This is absurd. There's every possibility this could cost Sam Allardyce his job. All because a referee and his colleagues between the four of them can't make the right decision. Two horrible decisions sank Leeds today too. When are they going to bite the bullet and bring in video replay for the fourth official? It's practically instantaneous. Bad decisions hold up the flow of play anyway. Why not settle the matter in ten seconds?

Between this and that poor lad dying at Motherwell, I can't remember being so down about football as I am today.

I don't think it's premature to congratulate him for closing off this season. He deserves it for the two inspired decisions of making Yakubu captain just before he scored a hat-trick and then having the foresight to make Berbatov skipper today. Of course, I'll still be fighting for second place but it's not quite the same.

I knew keeping faith with Berbatov would eventually pay off (and how!), but this is not the end of the season by a long shot.

Last season I overhauled Doug Beridon who had a 73 point lead in the last 5 games of the season to beat him by 2 points. (Doug's season is not going so well this year, probably due to the instability caused by the rumoured takeover of his club by a consortium of Sri Lankan business magnates.)

I'd say that anyone who is over 900 points right now (the top 7 players in our league) still has a legitimate shot at the title.

Phil O'Donnell's death kind of overshadows the whole joy of the day though. It even takes the spark off of the West Ham victory over Man U. Very sad when someone, anyone dies a premature death.

See, a week goes by, and once again it all turns around. My only hope is that my Torres vs. Titus Bramble gamble (say it three times fast) pays off.

It has to. It's Titus Bramble for fucks sake.

Simmo is also slowly but surely closing the gap as well.

Blackburn 1-0 Sunderland.

WHY DID KEANE CHANGE THE TEAM?

Chopra and Cole dropped for Wallace and Murphy.... we really could have won that game. Its all very well being a bit more defensive away from home but for god's sake its only Blackburn, and Wallace and Murphy are not Premier League class.

Post lottery numbers. Now.

Indeed!

Liverpool are having such a terrible season, and I for one am certainly enjoying it. 1-1 against Wigan at Anfield - that really is poor.

Titus Fucking Bramble!
