52Oh man. I must've been off my face. I don't even remember this picture being taken. I miss those carefree days.

This one wasn't Flickr I don't think as Lucy isn't on Flickr and everyone on the programme is a recent graduate I thought...(I haven't seen it yet)
We watched this last night after your heads-up; it is sponsored by Flickr and they are running concurrent features on the C4 website (have your photos assessed by the judges, etc). One of the guys on the show was a) a smug git and b) doing a masters in documentary photography, whereas another girl was a recovering alcoholic who had got into photography late. So I think the entrants were quite broad.
Lucinda distinguished herself, apart from the quality of her photos, by seeming to be genuinely getting something out of the projects they were given - even if she didn't enjoy it. It was plain to see that she is not a tosser. The smug bloke thought he had won just by turning up, the other bloke couldn't photograph anything without putting his own funny sign in it ('interventions'). The alcoholic lady seemed nice enough but not in Chua's league as a photographer.

55A common theme in most of our band's live shots; "Where's the fackin' audience".

Stars of the Lid lady! Very cool.
Indeed! It is our (her and me) band's intention to gig heartily in 2008. Please pass this onto any promoting acquaintances.
