I'd come down tough if so many people were mis-spelling my name.

Shut it, snulore.

Hemingway himself was severely dyslexic, and apparently used to give his manuscripts to F. Scott Fitzgerald for correction before sending them off to publishers. So presumably he'd be forgiving...

For some reason I have a vision of Ernest dropping his mis-typed manuscript off round Francis Scott's house, then giving him a wedgie and yelling "tell one person I can't spell and you'll get more than wedgies!"

Anyone care to elaborate on any of these? Some of them I never heard of.

I mentioned Crews because he tends to write about tough, poor characters. Obssessed with strength/the body: Perfection (boxers, etc) and imperfection (freaks, etc). Men pushing themselves to their limit and so forth.

He's also been through some shit in his life and could kick your ass.
