Did you see the reunited AMC live?

I love their records so I'd definitely be interested in seeing an AMC show.

Yes I did. It was pretty incredible, although I'm such a fan that I'm pretty certain objective criticism isn't possible. Even if they'd forgotten to bring the rock, the opportunity to study Vudi's playing should never be passed up.

I think that was the end of 2006 though.

A guitarist from Naked Raygun has just joined a hardcore punk band with Dan Yemin of (Kid Dynamite, Lifetime) calle Paint It Black. They're actually really good. I'd post a link but computer licks taint and I won't show any text when I right click anything.

THey have some songs from their upcoming album on myspace. Sounds good in my opinion.

Excuse me. I'm fucking retarded. Jeff of Naked Raygun just does some guest vocals on the new Paint It Black. Just clearing that up before I gave anyone's hopes up.

Usually a bad idea and in worse case scenarios just a crass move for dollars. I have enjoyed a couple, but have been disappointed by far more. I heard someone say they are a little like “looking at an old friend dead in a casket” and I agree. A moment in time can only be experienced once.

Rare exceptions of reunion shows I would travel to the end of the Earth to see include the Jesus Lizard and Zen Guerrilla.

Didn't technically reform as they didn't split up. I've seen them half a dozen times since 1988 and they have played a different set every time, with the only song they ever refer to from their original back catalogue being '12XU'.

The only time they played any more of the old songs was for their 25th anniversary, when they played a full set of pre-1981 songs and then promised never ever to play them again.

I'm seeing them in a couple of weeks. The new LP sounds incredibly polished but they'll never get anywhere as big as they should have been in the early 90s. They're playing 500-600 capacity venues in Europe and I don't think they will sell many of them out.
