I don't understand your stance on this, you don't think I should mention it to anyone if someone's an outright asshole to me?

This is info that might come in handy for a lot of people, plus people get what you deserve.

I don't rag on a band if their music stinks unless they were an asshole, I could see if I was just randomly shitting on every band even if they were cool just because I didn't like their songs but I'm not...yet it's still bad form for some reason?

If you don't wanna come over and laugh and joke and make friends because you don't like my band that's totally cool. If you haven't seen us play yet and we just got there I don;t know how you'd know that already but whatever....
I wanna know, how hard is it to at least say hello to the other bands? I mean, we are all here doing the same shit.
There's people who just won't, they'll ignore you when you go up and say hi when you all first get there. Just turn their back right on you and ignore you. You wanna rip a fixture off the wall and bludgeon them to death right there in front of their dorky fucking friends. You can't believe the nerve of some people and the fucked up superinflated opinion they have of themselves and their boring by the numbers rock music.
There are people who really honestly think they are some kind of genius hot shit because they are playing fucking music at a bar like a billion other people all over the world.
Not them, not their music, they are special....

i'm a lot nicer drunk but i play terribly.

after the show i'd be nicer.

it's been a long while since i played any shows. i got a new band going now though, so, i'll try to be less of a bludgeon deserving prick at future shows.

Just go over and say hello, that's all you gotta do and you are off the list.

will do. i guess the main reason i never did such a thing in the past was other bandmates did so i didn't really see any obligation.

You gotta get outta that mindset man, it's not good for anyone.
It's not that you have an obligation to do anything, it's the fact you are all there working towards making the evening enjoyable for everyone involved....I think it's cool I get to walk ver and meet some other people who get a kick out of playing music in half empty bars as well, maybe some of them will be really cool and I'll end up being long term friends with them. Maybe not, but either way this is where we are right now, let's make it a good night.
I am far fom hot shit, we are all in this together, you know?
