The early singles, the Marxist stuff is pretty great. The pop stuff is well done but not even in the same universe as the 70's stuff.

Iggy:

From Raw Power/Kill City to The Idiot (In no way comparing the two stylistically, but I can say I enjoy The first two Iggy "solo" records as much as The Stooges records). Not sure if that really counts, seeing as the Stooges were a band. But Iggy as a singer/performer, more specifically.


Agreed on Talk Talk.

I think Ricky Nelson made a nice turnaround, too.
