I bought one with Rob Bochnik when "the fuckers" had that 2 for $300 deal.
It's not the best mic by any stretch, but for $150 it's a great utility mic. The build quality is pretty bad, and the switches are kind of rough in motion (they actually are a good design using totally sealed magnetic actuators). I has an odd sonic coloring which is handy to use with other mic's on electric guitar. IMHOPOMNIQ? LOL!

12Thanks for the info everyone. So far I've used this mic for electric guitar (twice), I liked what it did to the "roar" aspect of the guitar sound. I also used i on a snare drum (but the drummer set up the hi hat opposite to the snare on the kit, so I didn't have to deal with the bleed), and also on a kick drum (together with a different mic on the beater side, the Oktava provided some neat low end). I still haven't mixed any of these projects, though, so I still consider myself sort of "in the dark" as far as results go. I'm looking forward to trying it on bass guitar.
