Going Bald

I think my hairline might be receding. This is not good, as I am not one of those people who would look good bald, and I'm not keen on looking sillier than I do now. Short of surgery, a rug, or whatever other hilarious joke suggestion could be made (that spray-on hair, etc), is there anything that will actually stop this from happening? I know this is a stupid question, but I'm curious. My suspicion is that any sort of anti-balding anything is a crock of shit manufactured to dupe the insecure, but I've been wrong about many things in my life...

placeholder,
I have seen many people pull some stupid shit in the name of male pattern baldness. Here are my suggestions:

1) Keep your chin high.

2) Be proud of who you are.

3) Be yourself, no facade needed.

4) Lastly, embrace the baldness, be the baldness, make the baldness your friend and life long companion.

Until there is a true cure. This is the only way to preserve your dignity.

Male pattern baldness is caused by intolerance to nortestosterone - a metabolite of the male hormone, testosterone. It's irreversible.
Treatments do exist for various forms of alopecia but the underlying causes of these are different. Drug companies will continue to prey on insecurity in this area and others. Don't be fooled.

Trust me, I'm a bald chemist.
