I'm not a big fan of rock shows, but I do like all-night dance parties.

i turned 28 in september. i feel pretty decent about it. old enough to have some focus, young enough to still be positive and know there's still tons and tons to learn.

i am 35 in a few days, and i must say, i'm starting to look my age, which is fine so far

here are my predictions for myself at 50:

--will cringe as much at my 35-yr-old self as my 35-yr-old self does at my 20-yr-old self

--will never go to shows unless it's a reunion of some old band that i used to see back in the day

--will marvel at whatever my children are wearing and hate most of the music they listen to. i'll probably be down to, like, only old blues records or something ridiculous like that.

--will still wear most of the same t-shirts i wear now. like, the exact same t-shirts.

--will still not have realized that making ranked lists is a foolish way to waste one's time

--will think i'm cooler than i really am, which will serve to embarrass my 65-yr-old self

i'm 23 years old.
