The Jandek a cappella records def cause me to have the howling fantods, I can't really think of any other music that really creeps me out like that stuff does. His other records I can enjoy just fine.
I prefer to listen to ONO during daylight hours.
When I was a kid my folks had a Scary Sounds of Halloween record that I use to force myself to listen despite the fact it scare the living shit out of me. If I heard it now I would probably tap my foot.
Music that scares you.

* this was also scarier when the band decided it didn't like the look of it's audience so decided to beat every single one of them(us) incl. the bouncers.

Maybe "scary" isn't the best way to describe this record, but it sure as hell makes me nervous. It's my first choice for listening while driving late at night, as it keeps me on edge enough to stay wide awake.
Some of my favorite times on the road have been driving across the desert between L.A. and Vegas, well after midnight, with this record really loud.

If you're nervous listening to it, try playing it sometime.

I've made a few records like this (judging by the description) and they haven't just scared people, they've murdered people.
Think about that for a second.
I've thought about it for many seconds... what?

90I think that's Todd Rundgren.
