Mandroid, it varies from state to state. Some have closed primaries (eg, New York, where you can only vote in your registered party's primary) and others have open primaries.

Then there's semi-open, semi-closed, blanket, etc, etc. Gets complicated and I don't pretend to understand how they all came about state-to-state.

I recommend voting 'no' or not voting on any of the judges, unless you know for sure they're worth a 'yes' vote.

It would be like a dream if the man went all the way with it. I can't even imagine feeling good about who our president is, the thought is so foreign.

I was walking down 14th Street in Manhattan today and there were some people with a giant Hillary banner walking down towards the DC9 union headquarters. There were a few young black high school kids across the street that began yelling "Obama, motherfuckah! Obama, motherfuckah's!!!!" It was quite hilarious. The white (and obviously gay) people carrying the Hillary sign started to walk much faster...

This post is not reflective of my feelings towards any race or orientation. I'm just tellin' ya how it went down.

i think we all do. and you're right, Obama is the only candidate that represents that right now, only because he hasn't been totally tainted by DC. but (and speaking of taints), McCain made that guy look like a pussy after he got elected during that little tiff they got into on the senate floor. so, it would be up to Obama to rectify that if they went head-to-head for the presidency.
