Anyone in Chicago looking for a job?

yeah, there's a problem with that- I have to do something for 2 months and drive from fucking Dekalb to do it so that i have something when I come back to the area.

It sucks. but thank you for the input.

Actually , every big box anything or retailer around town only pays 7.60 because the college students will work for just enough for a 30 pack of "natty ice" or multitudes of said 30 packs. Fucking Animal House bullshit has ruined it for the rest of us.

Man, I just can't do anything nice today. I'm sorry. Then again, all i'm doing is griping.

And then the 10 an hour can pay for truck driving school to make up for this excuse of a degree.

Edit. no one likes a sourpuss.

Au contraire, I thought the "Animal House bullshit" remark was choice.

eh well its true. During class breaks, while out smoking I'd hear the phrase "jager" floating in the breeze ten times.

After enough times, the gears start to move around, and the piece of paper does nothing to tell people that you want to work hard at something..all the hoity-toity analyst gigs in the world can fuck off now, after 500 resumes in the last 2 mos., I've crapped out of expectations. Guess I finally get to join the rest of the world.

And I used to like Jagermeister, at least a little bit.

Wow, I have turned a well-meaning thread into a street corner where the unemployed can grovel about their trouble.

Point is, Marsup': Is there an online application to put in?
