In a film thread here I came upon "The Perverts Guide to Cinema" and it's post-lacanian psychoanalytic philosophic host Slavoj Zizek,a controvesial,thought provoking Slovene about whom a documentary has been made recently.This got me to thinking...who are the current hip post-structuralist,futurist,neuro semantic,multi-disciplinarian comedians.For stimulation I always enjoyed the Learys,Anton-Wilsons,Deleuze and Gutattris et al,even if I didn't fully understand (or read) or agree with their commentaries.As I've had no connection with academia for 15 years and few local would be philosophers with whom to discuss the matter,I wondered who are the current faves of those in the know?
Hopefully we won't be reading Chompskys obit for a while...
